Since I have young kids (ages 6, 4 and 1), at least once a day¸ I’m saying, “It’s okay.  Stay calm.  Mommy will fix it.”

Isn’t it true that we need someone to say that to us at least once a day too? Here’s when I need to hear those words:

When guests are due for dinner at any moment, but I’m not ready.   “It’s okay.  Stay calm.”

When I have a book deadline and I wondering how I’ll ever get all the interviews done in time.  “It’s okay.  Stay calm.”

When I’m out with baby Lucy and she’s fussy, starting to cry very loudly because it’s her naptime.  “It’s okay.  Stay calm.”

Guess what?  If you are a Christian, you have a Heavenly Father who is saying “Don’t worry.  Daddy will fix it.”  In today’s chapter in my book, I write about a difficult time in our family’s life.  I was so blessed by God’s presence during a painful time, and I hope you will be blessed by reading about our Angel Rose.
