Seeing the Big Apple on crutches wasn’t ideal…BUT I still got to do a lot of wonderful things and meet some great people beginning with my publicist Ben from Pure Publicity and Audra Lowe, co-host of Better.  I did a segment about improving your memory with ideas from my book 31 Days to a Younger You.  My segment is scheduled to air this Thursday so I’ll keep you posted.  You can watch it online at Better TV on Thursday.

This image is very New York to me – taxi cabs and fashionable stores everywhere!

Speaking of fashion, it was kind of nice to have to wear a boot for my ankle.  It saved me from wearing high heels like the rest of the ladies!  Here I am on the subway (we only rode it once, then realized that taxis were much better for my foot).  I used the elevator for the disabled which worked pretty well.

We took the 3-hour Circle Line boat tour around the entire island of Manhattan.  This was a great way to see the city without walking and the views were unbelievable.  I was glad James could travel with me!

Let’s get to more good stuff…a few glimpse of what I ate!

I got to see a kiss in Times Square…

When it was all said and done, we had a great time in New York but it was wonderful to come home to this sweet sight:
