First of all, thank you for showering me with encouragement and love this weekend.
Thank you also for being open to share with me (and others) about your struggles and your joys.
When I got home, my kids were actually still out at the library with James and some friends. It was nice to unpack in solitude. (I know, don’t hate me for that).
Then the flurry of activity!
After hugs, I got to share my coconut macaroons, cookies and God’s granola from the conference center. I told my kids which stories I used at the retreat about them. They forget their own stories (as we do too), so when I told Ethan about the cookie story when he said, “When it’s got to bad, it’s got to be mama,” he TOTALLY cracked up.
I don’t think he should have laughed that hard.
I woke up with a song in my heart the next day (thank you Nova, Zap, Rick, Kevin and Danny for that). I put on my pink HOPE t-shirt, rejoicing as I thought of all of you.
Let’s keep in touch (Facebook…maybe in line at Costco).
You can listen to my monthly podcasts on iTunes (Happy Home Podcast) or on my website (just click PODCAST above).
And I would be indebted if you would write an Amazon review of my book 31 Days to a Happy Husband if you got that at the retreat. Who knows? Maybe we can reach 100 reviews on Amazon with the help of the Rock Flock to spread the word.
Remember to email me ([email protected]) if you review the book, so I can enter you to win a $25 giftcard on Amazon.
Keep smiling…have hope because God is in YOUR house. I love you dear sisters.
