Do you find yourself fighting with your spouse?
Are you easily irritated at home?
If your child grew up to have a marriage just like yours, would you be sad for him or her?
If you answer yes to any of these questions, I have a great date night for you this weekend.
I seldom post about movies but I must give a shout out to War Room. I previewed this movie at the beginning of the summer with pastors and women ministry directors. War Room is excellent!
Most importantly, it really touched me in a way I can remember and in a way that lasted long after the movie was through.
War Room emboldened my prayer life.
War Room showed me the power of prayer to transform a marriage because it unleashes the power of God.
War Room stirs up your soul and makes room for the Holy Spirit to work.
Oh, to have a praying grandmother or friend like the prayer warrior in the movie!
And check out the young actress Alena Pitts playing the role of the daughter. She is spot on believable, natural and adorable, and happens to be the daughter of my author friend Wynter Pitts of For Girls Like You!
I believe in fighting for our marriages and that’s why I’ve written books like 31 Days to Becoming a Happy Wife & 31 Days to a Happy Husband. (Remember, my Happy Wife Ebook is FREE this month on Kindle, Nook, etc).
Do yourself and your family a favor and go see War Room this weekend. Show theatres that we want family films which are redemptive. You will not regret it.
