This Thanksgiving week, let our mouths be filled with thanks to God for who He is and what He has done!
Thank you God that I don’t know everything about marriage or parenting…because then I wouldn’t have to depend on You.
Thank you God for endless loads of laundry…because it means I have people who care about me always nearby.
Thank you God for strong willed children…because they will be able to stand up for themselves someday.
Thank you God for Your Word…because it teaches us how to live and experience Your grace and peace everyday.
Thank you God for crayons, markers, and messy tables…because they are beautiful signs of life.
Thank you God for Cheerios…because those little tiny circles have often been the difference between a whiny toddler and a happy one.
Thank you God for good teachers…because they make learning interesting and give my children a good role model.
Thank you God for toilets…because running water is awesome and a bathroom to hide in is great from time to time.
Thank you God for America…because democracy provides the best backdrop for raising a family.
Thank you God for problems…because they allow me to see Your strength.
“Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph! For the Lord Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth.” Psalm 47:1-2
