A few weeks ago, Lucy fractured her ankle. I worry she might trip again. I worried because she couldn’t participate in this weekend’s family ski getaway (I happily stayed with her, off the mountain).
While Lucy hobbled around in her boot, her sister Noelle got sick with a very high fever, and she couldn’t ski either. I worried as I saw the thermometer read 103 and my girl looked so miserable.
What do you do when you worry about your kids? Or about your husband?
Let’s talk about it together. One key is found in Philippians 4:6, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.”
Help, I'm worried about my kids or husband. How can we worry less and trust God more? What do we do when our worries just get stronger and stronger? A few tips and prayers from my book "31 Days to Becoming a Happy Wife"

You can say this prayer from my book 31 Days to Becoming a Happy Wife:
Lord, I give You my anxiety and concerns. Your Word says to cast my cares on You because You care for me. Thank You for loving me and for knowing what I need even before I know myself. I trust in Your ways even when I don’t understand what is happening around me. I choose to place my hope in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
