I attended the excellent Learning and the Brain conference in NYC last weekend, and wanted to share something I learned.

Many of our kids are anxious, depressed or struggling in social situations. How can we help them?

In one word…FRIENDSHIP!

For many kids, friendship is a powerful cure to the ills of depression and anxiety. How can we help our children make good friends? I’ll talk about that in the video.

“The proper office of a friend is to side with you when you are in the wrong. Nearly anybody will side with you when you are in the right.” – Mark Twain

“Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It’s not something you learn in school. But if you haven’t learned the meaning of friendship, you haven’t really learned anything.” – Muhammad Ali
