Dr. Andrew Doan is an eye physician and surgeon, neuroscientist, speaker, and author of Hooked on Games. He completed his medical degree and doctoral degree in neuroscience from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He has an in-depth knowledge of internet addiction – both from his extensive studies and his personal experience of being addicted to games as an adult (playing 80-100 hours a week!).
Julie Doan is a registered nurse with an interest in child development, neuroscience, and digital media addictions. Together Julie and Andy founded Real Battle Ministries and give talks around the world about the problems associated with digital media overuse.
