The alarm clock rang at 5:25 am.

I hit the snooze button and laid there, motionless, for 5 minutes.  The point of decision.  It could go either way…

Then out of bed…the morning miracle!

My husband James says, “For such a happy person, you are so grumpy when you first wake up.”

If you read my last post, you know I’ve missed going to 6 am boot camp class for several times in a row.  (Sleep is so sweet!).

But I finally got out of bed and went today.  I had a really great time.  I have met a few ladies in the class and  I was really happy to see them again.

After the first 10 minutes of doing quick feet, wall squats, and ab moves, I was ready to slow d-o-w-n.

Yet the class kept going – and so did I.

Being part of an exercise class really helps you push past limitations.  On my own at home, I would have stopped after 15 minutes.  But in the class, you just keep going for the full hour.  Thankfully there are equally exhausted people to your right and left empathizing with you all the way!

I’m glad I have broken my “sleeping in” streak.  When you make the choice to exercise in the morning – at the time it’s hard – but afterwards, it’s a great relief!

What’s your workout routine?  Do you like working out in the morning or evening better?
