Several weeks ago, I blogged with great enthusiasm about boot camp at my local 24 Hour Fitness.
Yes, I love the class.
No, I don’t like waking up at 5:30 to make it there by 6:00 am.
I’ve been exercising three times a week, but I haven’t been back to boot camp for almost 2 weeks. The class is offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. My goal is to go weekly, and if I’m doing really well, twice a week.
I missed one Wednesday because I was out of town. Then when I returned, I was too pooped to rise on Friday at that dreaded 5:30 am.
Then on the following Monday, I had gotten to bed late, so I decided to forget about it. Wednesday I didn’t make it either. I woke up in the middle of the night to bring Lucy to the bathroom and couldn’t fall back to sleep right away. Getting up at 5:30 am?
No way.
What do you do when you’ve missed your exercise routine and need to get back on the wagon?
It’s so easy to find excuses (good ones!) isn’t it?
What are your favorite excuses to skip going to the gym or exercising at home or with friends?
What do you do to get back on track?
(I’ll let you know if I make it tomorrow to boot camp…)
