We’re on the A in DREAM which is Attraction…Your husband needs to be attracted to you.  Why is this important?

When James and I were dating, he would spray cologne (Polo Sport by Ralph Lauren) on his love notes to me.  I would spray perfume (Pleasures by Estee Lauder) on his love notes.

We have a box full of these old love letters.  After more than a dozen years, a few of those envelopes still smell good!  Why not put on one of your husband’s favorite perfumes?  Maybe it’s been awhile since he smelled a certain scent that will take him back to your dating days.  Or try a new scent and have a perfume smelling date night.  My friend Leeana Tankersley got these suggestions via Facebook for favorite fragrances to try:

Journey by Mary Kay

Happy by Clinique

Tea Rose by Perfumer’s Workshop

Poppy by Coach

J’adore by Christian Dior

Romance by Ralph Lauren

Chance by Chanel

Michael by Michael Kors

Red by Giorgio Beverly Hills

Here’s what Solomon had to say about the power of scent in Song of Songs 4:10:

How delightful is your love, my bride!  How much more pleasing is your love than wine, and the fragrance of your perfume  more than any spice!

When you spray the perfume on your body, breathe a quick prayer too.  Dear Lord, help me to be a fragrant part of my husband’s day.  Let me bring a freshness and beauty to his life.

What are some perfumes you and your husband recommend?
