WHAT FAMILY RESOURCE IS FREE THIS MONTH? FIND OUT HERE

WordoftheDay2When my husband James was a high schooler in the 80s, he was known to bring the “Word of the Day.”  As a passionate Christian, he wanted to share Bible verses with his classmates.  He would share the “Word of the Day” from the Bible verbally or by passing a note (I think those notes were okay).

Over a decade ago, we attended a high school reunion for James’ class.  What a cool thing when his friends still asked, “What’s the Word of the Day?”

James’ faithfulness and enthusiasm have given me a new idea for my Facebook page.

Every weekday starting on January 1, 2016, I’ll be posting a “Word of the Day” on my author page.

You’ll find an encouraging word to help you have a happier home.  There’s enough bad news in the world…let’s create a space for good news to fill your heart and mind.

As I read in Turning Points Magazine and Devotional yesterday,

God always has a timely word for us.  The Word of God encourages us in our hardest moments.  As we prepare to launch into a new year, make a renewed commitment to daily Bible study.  Fall in love with God’s Word this year, and you’ll find a timely word for every day and fresh hope for every hour.

Psalm 19:7 says, “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.”

As the calendar year changes, let us make room in our hearts and schedules for God’s Word.  Let it work perfectly in your life and home.

Happy New Year friends!

P.S.  If you haven’t liked my Facebook page, like it now and begin reading your “Word of the Day” tomorrow!
