What an honor to be a guest on Focus on the Family radio today. If you missed it during your drive time, you can listen here online.
Focus president Jim Daly and co-host John Fuller and I always have a good time in studio. They are both hilarious, kind, radio hosts extraordinaire, down-to-earth and wise.
As you can see from the first official looking photo and the second goofy photo, these are the kind of people who are a lot of fun to hang out with!
No wonder my kids loved meeting Mr. Jim and Mr. John during the visit. You can hear the kids on the radio at the beginning of the program…it’s very cute and funny. We listened to their comments this morning for the first time before breakfast.
If you’ve never tuned into Focus on the Family, I encourage to do so on a regular basis. Whether you are raising toddlers or teens, they bring advice that will be enlightening and give you a-ha moments in parenting.
As you listen to my interview about being a happier mom, you’ll hear the story of how I “stole” a bag of Oreos from my innocent kindergarten aged son. He received them as a Christmas gift and given time, I proceeded to eat. them. all.
How funny that as I left the building after recording, they had this box of Oreo cookies waiting for me to take home.
I hope you will be greatly encouraged by listening to the radio interview. It truly is one of the greatest blessings on earth to be a mom.
I know when you have kids under 5, it may not feel that way.
When your teens are driving around and spending your money like crazy, it may not feel that way.
Yet you can enJOY being a mom if you will simply practice a few simple habits each day. You’ll hear about it on Focus on the Family today.
And good news!
