Welcome Proverbs 31 friends!  So glad you could stop by today.

You may feel more like “Barely Getting By Mom” or “Wimpy Mom” or “Defeated Mom” on same days, but God sees you as a MIGHTY WARRIOR MOM!

Your role as mother is very important.  Never lose sight of that.

If not for his mother, Moses would have been throw into the Nile River.  The King of Egypt had decreed death for all Israelite baby boys. But she broke the law and hid her son for three months, eventually casting him into the river in a basket created by faith.

If not for his mother, David might not have been chosen as Israel’s king.  We know that David was chosen because of his inward appearance – his heart.  In Psalm 86:16, David writes “Save me, because I serve you just as my mother did.”  Apparently David had a godly mother who modeled service.

If not for his mother, Timothy would not have become a pastor and the Apostle Paul’s apprentice.  Paul writes in 2 Timothy 1:5, “I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.”

Don’t give up.  Keep praying.  Keep proclaiming the truth of God’s Word over your child.  Speak Biblically blessings out loud over your kids.

What you are doing is making a difference!

We are all qualified to be godly mothers…not from our works, but because of the work that Jesus did on the cross.
